There are two thick and wide elastics sewn along the bust of the top which act like a 'cage' and minimise spillage from the front.

Yes. In addition to the two thick and wide elastics sewn along the bust of the top, we have added a horizontal safety bust strap for sizes XL, 2XL and 3XL for extra security.

This top is also considered a full coverage triangle top as the surface area of the bra cups also extend to the back which minimises any 'side boob' spillage.

When it comes to triangle style bras like the Isla Bra, we would recommend sizing down and overtime, the bra will stretch just slightly to mould to your bust shape.

If you choose to size up, there is a risk of the underbust becoming loose which may cause riding up or constant re-adjustments in class.

Yes. With two thick and wide elastics running along the bust along with a firm elastic along the underbust, this top offers both vertical and horizontal support for your bust.

The larger surface area of the bra cup also ensures the bust is contained whilst the open racerback design allows comfort and back grip for certain pole tricks

This is a unique feature exclusive to our pole wear tops that no other pole wear brand incorporates.

Here at Tatiana Active, we LOVE the look of triangle tops as they are a universally flattering shape on all bust shapes and sizes.

However, triangle tops on their own are not supportive as the bust can spill through the front during inverted pole tricks. And so, we have designed a beautiful looking horizontal safety bust strap that connects the two bra cups together and minimises/prevents spillage.

For the Isla Bra (only added on sizes XL+), this strap can also be tucked away on days where you want a more minimal look.

Many styles in our range are made in a variety of colours that allow you to freely mix and match. Our core colours are black, burgundy, teal and wine. There are at least 3x styles made in mentioned colours.

Pole clothes that are made with one layer of fabric or thin fabrics - this causes the fabric to shift very easily and is not suitable for pole dancing considering the type of pole tricks you will perform.

Thinner fabrics lead to wardrobe malfunctions or constant adjusting during classes.

It is also best to avoid pole shorts or pole bottoms that do not have a wide gusset or crotch coverage area as there are certain pole tricks that can cause the fabric to 'slip' out of place.

We take our time to source unique fabrics that no other brands use, to invest in signature gold hardware detailing to make the pieces special and most all, we work closely with pole dancers of all different levels and body shapes to better understand how the pole wear should be constructed to support the sport.

We are the only brand to publicly (and consistently) showcase our product testing so you know that it will function as intended.

We don't take shortcuts and always line our pole tops and pole bottoms with two layers of fabric, as well as use invisible stitching for that luxurious fit and feel on the body.

We work with professional pole instructors who teach and train regularly to relentlessly stress test our products.

By using or wearing the product for the intended sport (pole dancing), we're able to identify any stitches that need reinforcing on the top or bottom - this allows your product to last your pole journey.

Lightweight fabrics have a thinner feel and a high level of elasticity - these fabrics are generally better used for the beach, swimming or running.

Heavyweight fabrics have a thicker feel and thereby a slightly lower level of elasticity - this is particularly great for pole tricks or pole dance classes.

As the sport requires us to be inverted, flipping, doing splits or back bendy tricks, it's important that the fabric stays in place.

Thicker fabrics have a slightly 'compressive' and cling to the body which feels secure for pole.

If handwashed, the fabric colour as well as the gold hardware will be less prone to fading (but of course, over the lifespan of the product and like general clothing, colours may change) as it will be subject to less detergent, wash time and agitation.

Whilst our recommended care instructions state to hand wash, they will survive a machine wash.

If you do choose to machine wash, please always use a slightly padded wash bag to minimise abrasion with other items in the wash - it will also protect the gold hardware from becoming brittle as it hits the washing machine drum. Always use a short cold wash cycle.

All our pieces are actually made from general swimwear fabric (85% Nylon 15% Elastane) however, the key difference is that all pieces are made with two layers of fabric.

This results in a slightly 'heavier' feel in water.

Please also note that if the pole wear contains gold hardware detailing - when regularly exposed to chlorine or salt water, this can cause the gold hardware to discolour, tarnish or fade.
